What to do if my bail bondsman gave me the wrong court date so I missed it?

You need to give the documentation to your attorney so they can show the court that you did not intentionally miss your court date.  If you do not have an attorney, then you need to contact the court coordinator to arrange a setting where you can visit with the court and the prosecution to present your letter and get your case reset.  It's really better if you have an attorney walk you through this process, but defendants have done it on their own.  You want to request the court for a new court date and ask them to rescind (or take back) any warrants issued for your failure to appear.  The sooner you get in touch with the court, the better.  The longer you wait will make it look like you are on the run and avoiding prosecution-- which may influence the judge not to rescind the bond.
