Probably not.  Auto insurance rules differ from one state to the next, but in most places, the premiums you pay depend in part on where you live, especially for things like comprehensive coverage (for theft and other non-collision loss).  If your son has his own car, he's almost certainly going to have to get his own insurance coverage.
