If I used my father’s credit cards but didn’t ask him and have now paid over half back, can he still sue me?
I have receipts where on care is paid off. Another one that that is 90% paid off and one that I’m still paying on. The total amount was around 5 grand. However the cards had several hundred dollars of balance on them to begin with.

From what you have written, if you used your father's credit cards withut his permission but have paid a good portion of your charges back but not all of the charges, under the laws of all states he is entitled to bring a civil action against you for his damages. However, the chances of him doing so since you are paying off the charges seems unlikely based upon what you have written. I suggest that you continue to pay off all charges on the cards even those that you did not place before the unauthorized use as a lesson learned.
