we bought a house in arizona and the seller left items behind do they belong to

No, they do not: you bought the house, not the items. You have to give the seller a reasonable chance to retrieve them. Send them some letter stating that they left things behind, detail those items, and state that unless they retrieve them within 30 days, you will consider them abandoned. Send the letter so you can prove delivery: e.g. by certified mail and also fax or email. Repeat at the 15 day mark, stating that you first gave them notice 15 days ago, and stating that they now have only 15 days to retrieve the items. If they don't get them by the deadline, consider them abandoned and dispose of them.
