From what you write, this is illegal. The law prohibits discrimination in employment on the basis of sex/gender or race. That does not mean that only minorities and women are protected; it also means that employers may not discriminate in favor of women and minorities against men and non-minorities (presumably, caucasions). You may have a claim for illegal workplace discrimination; you should consult with an employment law attorney to evaluate whether you do and what it might be worth. Good luck.
