Is the company allowed for force resignation?

I gave my resignation letter on 09/08 to my manager. It stated that my last employment will be on 09/30. However after an hour he said to me that the company wouldn’t allow me to stay until the 30th and that they want me to resign on the 15th. What can I do?

Giving notice of leaving your job to your employer is a courtesy but is not legally binding. In other words, once given an employer can accept it or not. If it doesn't accept it, then you can be asked to leave immediately. Further, this does not constitute a termination since you are considered to have quit at such time you served your notice. The only exception here is if an employment contract or union agreement provides otherwise.
