Is it legal for someone to add you to a suit as aplaintiff without your knowledge?

Siblings contesting mom’s Will. One brother did not even know about the suit or that he is a plantiff.

I am so sorry for your loss.  I can understand why it was done procedurally and strategically but no, you should not have been added as a plaintiff with out consent to do so.  Was Mom's Will executed while she was under a disability or through undue influence?  It may in the end be for the benefit of all.  Good luck.
