Is it legal for an employer to cut your pay without notifying you first?

I was part-time, then offered a full-time position with the same rate of pay. However, when I got my paystub it shows they cut my pay by $4 per hour.

In PA, an employer must notify an employee before changing their wage rate. Since it appears that your rights may have been violated, you can contact your state department of labor and/or an employment law attorney in your area.
