Is it copyright infringement if I reference pages/chapters from a copyrighted book?
No actual pages will be shown on my website but the references and additional self made supplementary material based off of those chapters will be the basis of my business.

It is not copyright infringement to merely reference a copyrighted book. Rather, it is good practice to state the source of any material you publish. Look at the footnotes in a Wikipedia entry. Every fact in there is sourced, where possible.
