I’ve let a person into my home to help them from ending up homeless. There was no rental agreement as they were not going to pay any rent. It was just to give them a place to use the internet and try to get another place to live. The problem is She has no respect for my personal space even after being told not to. She goes through my things and things are starting to disappear and I’ve noticed them in the room that she’s using. I want her out before more comes up missing. She pays no room & board, and I pay for everything. is it possible to just ask her to leave?

Yes, in this situation you can simply ask her to leave. Word to the wise -- get your locks changed in case she took keys or had access to them. If she won't leave or you feel she will get violent, your local police do offer civil escort services. They will send an officer to ensure she leaves and escort her of the property.
