Is there any law or otherwisethat regulates how often employers pay their employees?

If so, how often? As in weekly, biweekly, semi-monthly, monthly. In FL.

First, I need to make some assumptions here.  One, that you are an employee in the private sector and not the public sector.  Second, that you are an employee at will (otherwise your employment contract would most likely speak to the issue that you have raised).  Based upon the following I have to advice that it is my understanding that Florida does not have any laws dictating when or how frequently an employer must pay employees their wages.  I can not imagine, however, that the law would just let a bad situation go on forever.  I would contact the state Department of Labor and speak with someone as to the specifics of your case.  See what guidance they can give you.  Good luck.
