If he didn't update the will after he was married, there may be problems with the entire will, including th bequeaths and the selection of the executor. This is why attorneys recommend updates when there are new marriages, births, or deaths. At the minimum, there is a year's support issue.
If you are the sister, you need to take the will to an experienced local attorney.
Similarly, if you are the wife, you should seek the advice of a local attorney who has experience in challenging wills.
