It was always in the business office and now he must have taken it to his personal residence anything I can do? By the way, there is a sizeable amount of money in it.

The why's and what's of the goings on of your business and partnership are at issue here. If you are equal partners and your partnership agreement gives both of you access he can not hide things from you. I fear something bigger is going on and it may be time for you to go and see a lawyer about placing some type of legal hold on the accounts and him so that he does not dissipate business assets. Good luck.
