If I’m 16, can I move out of my parent’s house?
I want to move in with my friend because my family isn’t in a good state right now but there is no abuse or anything. I will be going to school and getting a job while I’m up there. How can I make this happen?

If your parents are willing to allow you to move out of their home due to the unfortunate ciscumstances that you are experiencing there then under the laws of all states such can be accomplished even though technically the parents are still legally responsible for you. I would simply get a signed and dated permission slip from the parents allowing you to move out on your own.
