Expunged or sealed records do not appear on a background check report if they are iexpunged/sealed at the time the record search was conducted. Therefore, you are entitled to say "No"on a job aplication when asked about any convictions. That having been said, some employers (i.e. the military, law enforcment, certain government agencies, etc.) do still have the right to see your entire record, regardless of the expungment.
