Yes, a non-working or only sporadically working husband can be awarded spousal support, the same way a non-working or sporadically working wife could be awarded support. The law does not discriminate between the genders the issue is only historically through the marriage who earned or contributed how much, and what are the current employment prospects of the spouses.
