If the bulk of charges are dropped prior to filing will they re-evaluate bail ?
Facing 7 felony charges (burglary, child neglect, & theft) from the arrest. The prosecutor only filed on one felony burglary charge and a misdemeanor theft. Will they re-evaluate the bail determination now that the charges are filed prior to the scheduled docket sounding? (she was remanded originally)

Under the laws of all states in this country, the amount of bail for a peson is determined by the type of criminal charges filed as well as whether the person who has been arrested is a flight risk. The court determines the amount of any bond based upon such criteria.
Less charges is better for the defendant.
