If someone file for asylum and get it here in the US but they have a wife overseas, is it possible to bring her immediately after getting asylum?

Or will they have to wait until they become naturalized?

Yes, it is possible for immediate family members of a person who has been granted asylum to have the family members "follow to join" the principal and get the same status as what the principal applicant has obtained.  It would require the filing of specific forms with the USCIS.
