We were married in La but have lived in PA for 15 years. What’s the process for seeking a divorce.

No, you do not need to return to the state that you were married in to file for a divorce. This is a common misconception.  As long as you meet the residency requirements of the state that you want to file in, that is all that is required.  Typically, it is 6 months. So in your case, if you file in PA you more than meet any legal residency conditions.
