If my supervisor states the following to me, can any legal action be taken?
“I am aware that you sent the HR Director a very large document. ____(my manager) and I will be present for every meeting, together. This is your 60 day review, it is your decision whether you would like to stay with the company or not. When it comes to __(our new hire) we don’t want you ‘poisoning the well’. You are on your third write up, if you do receive a fourth it will lead up to possible termination. Just know that ___(my manager) is watching you and will be watching you. Consider yourself a TARGET!” This took place after reporting said supervisor and manager to HR.

Well I think that we all know that supervisors can not target you for any reason and especially if you reported them for something that they were doing that was wrong (called the whistleblower statute). Do you have any witnesses? I would speak with an employment attorney about the documentation your state requires to prove your case. Good luck.
