If my husband used a falseSSN on our marriage license, isthe marriage legal?

My husband was not a legal citizen when we married and I have recently learned he used a false SSN on our license. I wantto divorce but I’m wondering if our marriage is even legal.

If your husband used a false social security number with respect to your marriage license, the improper social security number he used has no effect with respect to affecting the validity of your marriage. The marriage from what you have written is valid and legal. If you want to divorce your husband, you should consult with a family law attorney to assist you.
