If installment contract written to purchase home no mention of property taxes, then who is responsible to pay them
Purchased first home owner done a land
contract. There was no mention that I
was responsible for the property taxes
before home was deeded over to me. The
house was paid off in November 2015,
but home still not deeded over in my
name. Now she is trying to say I am
responsible for property taxes for
2015. Am I responsible for taxes if not
deeded in my name?

A contract sets out each party's obligations and rights; if it's not in the contract, it's not something you would be liable for. So if the contract did not require you to pay the property taxes before taking title (i.e. before the home was deeded to you), then you would not have to pay them (at least not until the home was deeded to you); rather, the property's owner (the seller) would be responsible for them if the contract did not make your responsible.
