If I’m not directly involved with transactions, can I still pursue charges against my sister-in-law for embezzling from my parents via real estate?

My parents funded the rehabbing of homes, yet my sister-in-law took equity out of each home without paying my parents back. The amount is almost half a million dollars that she took from them. My parents aren’t willing to pursue charges, but I’m ready to do what I have to in order to right her wrong. They pay back 400 a month, which is an agreement they made with my parents, and something that will take 100 years to pay off.

Unless you were personally involved in these transactions, you really have no standing to take legal action. That is unless you feel that a claim for elder abuse is appropriate. In which case, as your parent's daughter you could pursue legal action on their behalf.
