I am currently in TX -receiving unemplyment benefits from WI, can I continue to do this?

No, you can't--and if your are doing this at present (working while getting unemployment compensation), you are committing unemployment fraud and could face considerable liability. Unemployment may be provided state by state, but it doesn't protect merely against being unemployed in that state; unemployment compensation is for being laid off or fired (not for cause) and not having any employment, anywhere. If you are working in a different state, or indeed a different country, and if you are working either as an independent contractor (freelancer or self-employed) or as an employee (including part-time), you cannot also collect unemployment insurance. Once you are employed, anywhere, in any capacity, you should not be collecting unemployment.
