If I lied about my income when getting a car in a dealership, what are the consequences?

Assuming your lie witrh respect to the income that you claimed in order to get the car that you purchased comes to light with the dealership, it could possibly sue you for fraud assuming you are making payments over time on the vehicle and are behind on them.

However, if you are current on your presumed monthly installments for the vehicle, I doubt that the car dealership would really do anything against you concerning your misrepresentations.
