If I have a credit card with my name on it but it is under someone else’s account, do I have to pay the bill?

My boyfriend had a credit card, he got me a card with my name on it on his account. Am I responsible to pay the bill? Can he sue me for the charges?

I am really unsure how to guide you here.  I think what you are asking is if you are responsible for your charges to the account.  I think that you know what the answer is and I can not tell you that it is okay to avoid what you are responsible for charging just becuae you are not the account holder. Are you saying this is a perpetual "gift" of charging on the account?  Can he sue you for the money? Probably. He should also cancel your card.
