If you were charged with criminal vandalism and you plead guilty to the charge, most likely the conviction will remain on your permanent record unless the court gave you court probation. Court probation is a special process where a person who pleads guilty to a crime has to adhere to certain terms of the probation for a certain period of time.

Once the time period has elapsed for the court probation, the court will then dismiss the conviction if the convicted person has met the terms of the probation. Once the conviction is dismissed, there is nothing on that person's record.

Good luck.
