Anything owned jointly will become hers solely on automatically on your death (or conversely, become yours, if she predeceases you) and so no probate or probate affidavit is necessary. It would only become necessary if pre-death, you acquire or obtain or inherit something only in your name (i.e. before you have a chance to put it into joint ownership).
