Actually, there really isn't much that you can do. Employers can hire and fire at will; in fact they can generally set all of the terms or conditions of the workplace as they see fit. Accordingly, they can terminate a worker's employment for any reason or no reasonat all (with or without notice).

Of course, the above assumes that there is no existing company policy, employment contract or union agreement to the contrary. Additionally, no form of actionable discrimination must have been a factor in your treatement.
