If your employer gives you an option on how to be paid as set forth in the employer employee manual assuming one is in effect, then you are entitled to that option. From a practical perspective, for you to get paid by direct deposit is the best in that you get a quicker deposit and do not have the hassle of having to deposit your paycheck.

If you want to be paid by paycheck then you can ask for such of your employer. You cannot be forced to accept the above modes of payment.
