Is it legal if I was terminated while on medical leave 5months ago but was not notified until 3 weeks ago?
I have all documentation that was faxed by my physicain. I would like a consulation to see if I was terminated unlawfully.

Under the laws of all states in this country absent a compelling business reason by the employer such as the fact that the business is not meeting its financial obligations it is illegal to terminate an employee who is out on maternity leave. As such, I suggest that you consult with a labor law attorney and/or a representative with your local department of labor as to what happened to you concerning your termination.
