What can I do if I was terminated for unwanted touching to a co-worker?

I am a nurses aid at nursing home. I had a contact with my supervisor in her office for her signature on a missed swiped sheet. I gently tapped her on the shoulders to express my appreciation; she then reported that I kissed her. I was the terminated for this matter.

You probably have no rights in this matter. That is unless your termination violated the terms of an employment contract or union agreement. The fact is that most work relationships are what is known as "at will". This means that a company can set the conditons of employment much as it sees fit so long as they do not commit any form of legally actionable discrimination. Therefore, an employee can be discharged for any reason or no reason at all, with or without notice.
