If I was involved in an accident that occurred three days ago, must I complete an accident report?

The driver and I exchanged information, including insurance, and we contacted the insurance company. They have already handled everything concerning repairs to the vehicles. Although the police were called, there were no responders. I had to wait a couple hours for a tow, and during that time, the other driver had already left. Is contacting the police, even though they did not show up sufficient? Must I complete an accident report?

I suggest that assuming that you have auto insurance for your vehicle that you contact your insurance company and report the accident. A claims representative will assist you in completing all of the required paperwork including an accident report that could be sent to the local police authority where the mishap occurred.
