How do I handle question on a job application regarding a prior offense?

I was involved in a DUI 5 years ago. I only lost my license for 1 month than it was rescinded. Also, I had to pay a fine and compete alcohol classes under 1 year of court supervision. I was not convicted. I am applying for a very important job now and want to know how to answer truthfully on the application. Here is the question on the application,.”Have you ever served probation, pretrial diversion or deferred adjudication for any criminal offense?” Do I say yes or no? I hope im able to say no. When it said was I ever convicted I answer no.

Unfortunately, the answer from what you write would be "yes": DUI is a criminal offense in your state. Being sent to alcohal classes under court supervision would be pretrial diversion--you were diverted from being tried (and likely convicted) by going into an educational program under the court's supervision.
