What to doif I was in a car accident over 30 days ago but I still have not been able to get my car back repaired and finished?

The insurance company has refused to work with the auto body shop to get the repairs done. The auto body shop keeps extending the amount of time they need. What can I do to get the auto body shop to complete the repairs and return my car?

You need to file a consumer complaint with the insurance department in Massachusetts because it sounds like your insurance company is not being cooperative and showing bad faith to its insured. Force the issue and tell the insurance company that if it does not work with the mechanic to get the car repaired, you will sue the insurance company and the mechanic. Tell the mechanic it needs to get the repair work done or you will take your car elsewhere. If within 48 hours your repairs are not done and the insurance company does not help, you will probably have to take the car elsewhere and sue both the first mechanic and insurance company for reimbursement.
