Workers compensation only pays for treatment to the point of "Maximum Medical Improvement," or MMI.  The doctor is the only one who can say that you have reached MMI, and he must have done so, or the compensation insurance company has made a mistake that you should be able to correct.

You have a permanent partial disability, and you can get money from workers compensation for that.  You will have to file a claim, and it is best to have an attorney who does workers comp claims on a regular basis handle this for you.  One place to look for a lawyer is our website, http://attorneypages.com
