I'm so sorry about your injury.  I'm sure you've sought out medical treatment and are taking care of yourself.  I assume you are asking about responsibility for this accident.  Does your friend own their own home?  If so, they should have homeowner's insurance which will cover injuries that take place on their property.  You would want to make a claim with their insurer right away.  If they rent, perhaps they have a rental policy which includes liability.  If not, the owner of the house should have coverage.  And, of course, if you have health insurance, that should take care of you for now.  Good luck.
