I was caught for delivering a bag of marijuana and having a grinder on me along with another small bag of weed. What will I be charged with?

I was caught with a very small amount (.3g) and the amount I delivered was 1.7g. I am 16 and was rolled by my towns **** task force. This is part of a larger investigation, because the main person they were after with me was pulled over by the DEA today, and was not caught with anything, but his friend got caught with a grinder and scale. What is going to happen? Will I be able to get probation and get this off my record? Will I even be charged? I was taken to jail and released, they just said they would call me in to talk to them again. The dealer only picks up misdemeanor amounts. Illinois

Thankfully, you are 16.  You have time to change your ways.  Why would you do this?

Anyway, depends on what they charge you with, in addition to simple possession and dealing.

So, your best bet, is to talk to a private attorney (criminal defense) who can find out what is happening and if you are being formally charged.  Try www.attorneypages.com.
