If I was awarded a car in our divorce but the title is in my ex’s name that their gave to us while married, can he now ask for the car back?

My father-in-law now either wants car back or money for it. However, the divorce decree specifically stated this car was to be mine.

If this was a  gift to both of you during your marriage - not money loaned, etc - then it became a marital asset for distribution and your father in law has no right to ask for the car nor money for it.  Good luck.
