Yes it can show up on your record, depending on how it is logged. Usually it will say the violation for which you were arrested, the specific statute, when, and what happened (conviction, dismissal, etc.) You can, in many states, file for expungement and/or sealing such records. Your best bet: an experienced criminal defense attorney.
