I was a full time employee at Bank of America for 20 years. I was laid off for no clear reason. Is this legal?

I am curious to know if its legal to sue Bank of
America for laying off without clear reason.

Unless you had an employment contract or union agreement you were an "at will" employee, even after 20 years. This means that you could have been terminated from your job for any reason or no reason at all, with or without notice (asent some form of legally actionable discrimnation (i.e. based on race, religion, age (over 40), gender, nationality, disability).
