How do I petition for my parents to come to theUS from Mexico?

I am a female with naturalized citizenship that I got through my husband. I want to file all the paperwork myself but I do have one question that i need an answer to? Both my parents came to the US around 11 years ago illegally and were apprehended twice at crossing. They finally made it in on their third try. This was over 10 years ago, going on 11 now. When immigration asks on the form the times that they have come over do you recommend putting this info on the form or leave it out? Since I heard that over 10 years it doesn’t matter.
