I know that I’ responsible for the rental until my name is off the property. My insurance agent told me that after the rental is empty for 90 days they will cancel the policy.

Under the laws of all states in this country, so long as there is no order that you are to vacate the unit that you have written about you can have anyone reside within it including your adult daughter. I suggest that you consult further with a bankruptcy attorney in your locality. One can be found on attorneypages.com.
