Can my children’s father’s parental rights be terminated involuntarily or voluntarily?

I want my children’s father to terminate his parental rights. He has not seen them in years and they want nothing to do with him because he has never been around or supported them. He was also abusive to me in front of them while we were together. He has been in and out of prison their entire lives. He has never provided for them financially and the last time I tried to get child support I was denied because he didn’t make enough money .Can his rights be terminated? Can I file or must he?

He can voluntarily give up his aprental rights so long as the court does not believe it is to avoid child support.  Fromt he facts as you have listed them here that does not seem to be an issue.  You can also start the paperwork as to same but I would seek help from an attorney to do this properly.  Good luck.
