What laws that my employer has broken by hiring me to do a job that is illegal?
My employer hirred me to do a job that is a misdemeanor which they did not disclose to me at hiring or during training and of which I was ignorant of until the police showed up to warn me. They hired me to do door-to-door solicitation without any of the required permits and in the local city codes they have sent me to this is a misdemeanor and is an arrestable offense.

If your employer hired you to do a job without having the proper permits and licenses in place to do the tasks that you were hired to do where you ended up getting arrested, convicted, and fined with respect to the course and scope of your employment, your employer under the laws of all states in this country would be responsible for reimbursing you all of your out of pocket expenses as a result, including your attorney's fees.
