If you were arrested for a crime and charged with a criminal offense where you ended up being finger printed but the charges were either dismissed or you went to trial and the result was an acquital (not guilty), you have no criminal conviction or history for the charge you are writing about to be concerned with.
Just because a person has been arrested does not necessarily equate to a conviction. They are two separate processes
However, since you were finger printed, you finger prints will be within this country's data base and can be cross referenced in the future.
