What to do if I’m an independant auto damage appraiser and was covering claims that were sent to me from an iappraisal company which has since closed?
They shut their doors this month. I have left messages for them to return my calls about the money they owe me and that they have already collected from the insurance company. Is there anything that I can do to get the money on the completed claims they owe me for?

1) You can *try* suing the company--but if it has been dissolved, or even if it technically still exists, but has no operations, income, or assets--you will not recover anything.
2) If the company was NOT a corporation ("inc.") or limited liability company ("LLC"), you could sue the owner(s) personally--however, you cannot do that if was a corporation or LLC.
