If I recently inhertied 1/6 share in a home that we are going to be selling, will my husband have to sign for his dower rights since it was as part of an inheritance?

Generally speaking, Ohio does not recognize inherited property as marital property but it would not hurt to have him sign a waiver of his interest in the property becuase of the dower right law that remains in effect in Ohio.  Better safe than sorry.
