What should I do if I just found out that I have a misdemeanor warrant from 8 years ago in regards to a bounced check?

I am on disability and dialysis. When I was attempting to work through an SSI work-at-home program, this appeared on my background check. How do I get this resolved? I have a very limited income and I wasn’t aware of the warrant.

Based upon what you have written about, you need to consult with a criminal defense attorney experienced in expunging a conviction in your locality. One can be found on attorneypages.com. Another option is to contact your local legal aid clinic.
