If I have sole legal custody of my daughter, once I give her father the official 60 days notice, can he actually block and prevent my move cross-country?

I have given my ex 2 years to prepare for my move.

Under the laws of your state of residence if you give your child's father sixty (60) days notice of your intended move with your child where you have sole custody of the minor he can always file a petition to stop the move. Given such a possibility, you may wish to consider consulting with a family law attorney about your intent.
